Good Life Station
GLS Thrive Incubator is a nonprofit, community-based educational and charitable organization focused on increasing technology literacy, workforce readiness, and economic resilience among small business owners, entrepreneurs, and community members.
We exist because too many good businesses do not fail due to lack of effort or passion—but because technology evolves faster than access to education and support.
Thrive helps close that gap.

Good Life Station
GLS Thrive Incubator was founded in response to a growing challenge facing small businesses across communities: rapid technological change without accessible support.
While working directly with local businesses, educators, and community leaders through the Thrive Series at Good Life Station, it became clear that many business owners—especially those who had successfully operated for years—were being left behind by new tools, platforms, and expectations.
These businesses were not failing due to lack of effort or commitment, but because they were never given the opportunity to learn how to adapt to modern systems, digital tools, and emerging technologies.
GLS Thrive Incubator was created to address this gap through education.
By providing practical, accessible learning opportunities focused on technology literacy, workforce readiness, and business sustainability, Thrive helps community members and business owners build the skills needed to remain competitive and resilient in a changing economy.
What began as a local workshop series has grown into a community-based incubator model designed to strengthen small businesses, protect jobs, and support long-term economic stability—starting in Alachua and designed to be replicated in other communities.

GLS Thrive Incubator’s mission is to provide accessible education, tools, and community-based programming that help small business owners and community members adapt to modern technology, remain competitive, and contribute to long-term economic stability. Technology should be a tool for sustainability—not a force that pushes people or businesses out.
Across communities—particularly on Main Streets and in small towns—businesses that have served their customers for years or decades are being disrupted by:
Rapid advances in technology and artificial intelligence
Shifts in consumer behavior and digital expectations
Increased reliance on online platforms, automation, and data systems
Limited access to practical, affordable technology education
Many business owners never had the opportunity to learn these tools, yet are expected to compete in a technology-driven economy.
GLS Thrive Incubator was created to address this community challenge through education and access.
By providing technology literacy and modern business education, Thrive helps prevent unnecessary business closures, protects jobs, and supports local economic resilience.

All educational programs are designed to serve the public benefit and are open to the community or targeted based on demonstrated need. GLS Thrive Incubator serves individuals and businesses at multiple stages, including:

GLS Thrive Incubator is not a venture-capital accelerator and does not focus solely on startups. We believe thriving small businesses strengthen communities, preserve local character, and support long-term economic health.

GLS Thrive Incubator grew out of the Thrive Series at Good Life Station, where community workshops revealed a consistent and urgent need:
Business owners were not asking for hype or disruption—they were asking for help understanding how to adapt.
What began as a local education series evolved into a dedicated incubator focused on technology literacy, workforce readiness, and small business sustainability.
GLS Thrive Incubator partners with community organizations, venues, and educational institutions—including Good Life Station—to deliver public educational programming and community-based support.
