Pop-Up Events

Cade Museum at Good Life Station

To deepen its reach and presence in the wider community, the Cade Museum collaborates with Good Life Station to host pop-up events and mini-programs in that space.

What are Cade Pop-Ups?

These are portable, temporary activations (e.g. mini exhibits, workshops, interactive demos) set up at Good Life Station that bring a taste of the Cade’s mission closer to neighborhoods, businesses, and people who might not travel to Gainesville regularly.

Why Good Life Station?

Good Life Station is a smart community hub in Alachua, designed to bring together local resources, learning opportunities, and gatherings. By hosting pop-ups there, Cade extends its footprint and reaches people in a more centralized, accessible location.

About Cade Museum

The Cade Museum for Creativity & Invention (Gainesville, FL) is a hands-on, experiential museum whose mission is to ignite curiosity, celebrate invention, and empower people to think and create like innovators.

When you visit, you’ll be encouraged to tinker, experiment, and explore — whether that means 3D printing your own design, dissecting a device, or engaging with interactive exhibits that explore the stories of inventors who have changed the world.

The museum is open Thursday through Sunday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

In addition to regular exhibits and programming, the Cade Museum runs initiatives like the Cade Prize for Inventivity®, which encourages startup innovation and community engagement.

Because of its educational and outreach focus, Cade acts as a community resource — not just a museum. It offers inclusive access, partner programs, and outreach to schools and neighborhoods.

STEM / STEAM Education Access

It provides opportunities for youth and adults to engage with science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics through hands-on learning.

Innovation & Entrepreneurship Support

Through its prize programs, partnerships, and innovation showcases, the Cade helps to connect inventors, startups, and local businesses.

Inspiration & Exposure

Many visitors, especially young people, get exposure to career paths, creative thinking, and the idea that they can contribute to invention.

Community Outreach & Equity

The museum often runs discounted admission days, partnerships with underserved schools, and collaborative programming to reach broader audiences.
